BLT Sandwich Recipe

Here’s a classic BLT (Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato) sandwich recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Bacon:
  • Heat a skillet or pan over medium heat.
  • Add the bacon slices and cook until they are crispy, turning occasionally.
  • Once the bacon is cooked to your desired crispiness, transfer it to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
  1. Toast the Bread:
  • While the bacon is cooking, toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a griddle until they’re golden brown.
  1. Assemble the BLT:
  • Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  1. Layer the Ingredients:
  • On one slice of bread, place a leaf of lettuce.
  • Add a layer of tomato slices on top of the lettuce.
  • Season the tomatoes with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  1. Add the Bacon:
  • Place the crispy bacon slices on top of the tomatoes.
  1. Top with Another Slice of Bread:
  • Take another slice of bread with mayonnaise and place it on top of the bacon, mayo side down, to create a sandwich.
  1. Cut and Serve:
  • Carefully cut the sandwich in half diagonally to make two triangular halves.
  • Serve your delicious BLT sandwich with your favorite side dishes like potato chips or a pickle.
