Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk, butter, and water until warm (about 120-130°F).
- Pour the warm milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir well.
- Add the eggs and gradually mix in the remaining flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a 15×9-inch rectangle.
- Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the buttered dough.
- Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log.
- Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal slices and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Cover the dish with a towel and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake the cinnamon rolls in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing by mixing together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the cinnamon rolls are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Drizzle the icing over the warm cinnamon rolls.
