Bolo Caseiro Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients while stirring gently. Mix until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  7. Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  8. After 10 minutes, carefully transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
  9. Once the cake has cooled, you can dust it with powdered sugar or frost it with your favorite icing if desired.
  10. Slice and serve the bolo caseiro as a delicious homemade treat!
