
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well blended.
- Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients while stirring gently. Mix until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.
- Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, carefully transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
- Once the cake has cooled, you can dust it with powdered sugar or frost it with your favorite icing if desired.
